Matar Ka Nimona or Just Nimona or Green Peas Curry – Nimona is a traditional side dish recipe of north India (especially Uttar Pradesh, Bihar & Jharkhand). It is usually cooked in winter because of seasonal availability of fresh green peas. However, this dish is not really commercialised. It is not usual for it to be found on the menus of restaurants or hotels. The specialty of this nimona is that it is made out of fresh green peas available in winter season in India. It is a delicious curry and can be enjoyed with rice or chapati (naan).
